We spent a very comfortable 4 nights at this elegant hotel, a 5 min walk from the Zhongxiao Fuxing metro station on the blue line and a little further from the Da’an metro station on the red line. This made it very convenient for Taipei Main Station, the Sogo department store, and Taipei 101 and other tourist attractions. The hotel has old-world charm and our double room was well equipped and included a combined toilet and bidet (a first for us). Breakfast was buffet style, plentiful and included a fusion of Asian and Western food, all very elegantly presented. What made this hotel special for us was the helpful and friendly staff, the comfortable guest lounge (with tea and coffee on tap and books to peruse), and the newly introduced wine, beer and snacks happy hour from 5 pm - 7 pm every evening. We hope the hotel continues with this welcome and welcoming innovation.

This is a nice quaint boutique hotel . However , even though it is located on the financial district , it is quite a walk going to the main happening area or even just a fast food or convenience store. The lobby is very small , so is the elevator . Hardly available is an area for luggage storage. Another area better to be improved upon is the buffet breakfast choices . Though selections change there are no egg/ omelet station . Last year stayed in the Shangrila Far Eastern and the difference is somehow evident. There is also a noticeable absence of a bellhop to help with your luggage . For the positive things , I like the presence of a Nespresso machine , and a Smart Tv . So is the Toto washlet in the bathroom . As hotel guests you can utilize the lounge area in the ground floor which offers coffee and water. The staff are diligent and polite . Asking for ice , a pack was given to me. Even for bottled water . Special mention of the front desk, lounge and breakfast crew , even housekeeping.

I used to be a regular customer here, a little over 12-15 years ago. After a bad experience at another hotel, we made a last-minute booking and transferred here and I was not disappointed. Everything I loved about this hotel still exists. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and the staff is friendly and helpful. I really feel like I'm in an oasis is an otherwise crowded and busy city. Some 12 years ago, I stayed here over my birthday and when I returned to my room, there was a cake on my desk. They saw my birthday on my passport and sent me a cake! Les Suites, you have regained a loyal customer, and I'm sorry I strayed in the first place.
