Holiday Fun B&B

Although a little hard to find at first, it's location n staff made our trip memorable. It's one block away from the mrt sta n one block away from ximending walking area filled w restos, bars n endless shops wer great deals await you. It's located behind the Red House n near several great bars n live bands n one mrt stop from both CKS memorial n Laoshan temple.

I had a hard time booking for an affordable room in Taipei because most of the rooms don't have their own bathroom. Luckily, there's Holiday Fun. The room wasn't very big, but it was enough. No cabinets, so just be organized. There were two hooks and a few hangers. The bathroom was clean, rightly sized, with a tub. The hotel provides basic toiletries as well. You can request for your room to be cleaned up everyday. The best part of the stay was Esther, the receptionist. My partner lost the room key. He was to be charged $500NT. Instead of Esther taking the money rightaway, she asked us to look for the key first. Even if we didn't request for the room to be cleaned, she asked her cleaning lady to do it to help us look for the key (We found the key at the supermarket customer service). We are planning to return to Taipei in November. I will definitely love to book this hotel again. Plus, it is just a few steps from the Ximen and the train station.

Stayed here for four nights and they cleaned our room daily, also provided drinking water and fresh towels daily. Hot and cold shower available and tub. Staff are very nice and approachable. You can leave your luggage on their lockers even after check out. Place is a few mins walk to the center of Ximen and the night markets. However if you book top room, there is no elevator so you have to go through four flights of stairs.
