Emperor Hotel

We stayed at Emperor Hotel Taipei (King's Hotel). It was a luxurious structure just to say Emperor Hotel. The room was more beautiful than I expected. The staff were all smiling and kind.

The place is great. Located south of Hayashimori Park, it is less than 10 minutes walk to Nakayama Subway Station. There is also Mitsukoshi around Zhongshan Station, and along Linsen North Road near the hotel, it is one of the most popular downtown areas in Taipei. There are many bars and karaoke shops for Japanese people behind the hotel. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops as well as a 7-Eleven about 30 meters away. Smoking enthusiasts are also happy to find an easy-to-use smoking area at the back of the lobby on the first floor. On the other hand, the hotel itself is small and quite old. The hallways and rooms are old-fashioned everywhere. The water area is particularly old and lacks cleanliness. Toilet paper cannot be flushed, although toilets are also equipped with bidets. Best of all, the company has been doing away with amenities in the name of 'eco-friendly' and there is no comb, shave or even a toothbrush. All you have is shampoo and body soap (which doesn't foam well) in the bottle provided. Hair dryers are also small, and if you don't hold them constantly with your fingers, the wind won't come out, making it difficult to use. I think it's the biggest drawback in this regard. The air conditioning in the room is also a drawback, as it cannot control even the intensity, leaving it to the operation of the hotel. The bed is also clean, but the mattress is quite solid. Breakfast is just one thing, and it's only hairy enough for a cheap business hotel in Japan. This makes it a hotel that I wouldn't want to use for a couple or even a family trip. It is suitable for employee trips, business trips, and male-to-male trips, but it is practically a "cheap tour purveyor hotel for Japanese travel agencies". The front desk is staffed by many Japanese speakers, and the service itself is not bad.

Used in HIS tours. I understand Japanese and use the tour, so I don't have a view of the city, or rather the view, and although it's a little old, the staff is kind and pleasant. You have to leave your heavy keys at the front desk, but it's within walking distance to Zhongshan station and Taipei station, well. The location is good. When I accumulated the hot water in the bath, I couldn't figure out how to pull it out and it disturbed the staff. When I pushed the cork and accumulated hot water, I felt bad because I had to re-send it and it came out. I want to stay again. Thank you for your help.
