Just Sleep Hotel Ximending

2 women's staff are very kind in the evening, but after check-out on the 29/4 morning, about 1 o'clock after returning to the hotel carrying luggage because of Taiwanese currency is not enough, I wanted to ask the hotel staff to help with the exchange, but a woman staff said to me that will only help the hotel guests to exchange, and I have checked out so I am not a hotel guest, ask me to exchange myself to the nearby bank, don't know the hotel policy or the staff do not want to help? The female staff has a bad attitude without any smiles and will never stay in the hotel again

Our family stayed at the Ximen branch and booked three rooms — a triple room, a double room, and a quad room. We arrived very late, but the staff were still energetic and patiently explained all the facilities, breakfast times, and other details. They were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcomed. All three rooms had special decorations prepared for us, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. During check‑out, we realized that a mobile phone was missing. The staff did everything they could to help us search for it. Although it wasn’t found immediately, they continued assisting us. Later, when we located the phone on the street through GPS, the staff even went outside to help us look for it — and we successfully found it. We are truly grateful for their dedication. At one point, the children — who are from overseas — got separated from us. I asked the front desk for help, and they assisted in arranging a taxi to bring them safely to our location. This task was also completed smoothly. A big thank‑you to Joyce, as well as all the front desk staff including Stanley, Johnny, and Jean. Breakfast was delicious, and the chef prepared everything with great care, even greeting us warmly. The dining staff were quick and efficient in clearing tables, so we didn’t have to wait long to enjoy our meal. Despite being busy, everyone still had a smile on their face, which made the experience even better. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and we truly appreciate all the help and kindness from the entire team.

We stayed 4 nights in 2 twin rooms. The location of the hotel was great. It was close to the Ximending walking district with all kind of restaurants within minutes of walk. Ximen MTR station was right outside the hotel and the Taipei main station was within walking distant. Beds were very comfy and shower was good. The bathroom arrangement was a little odd with the toilet and shower in different rooms and the sink outside of the two rooms. Took me a little to get used to. The hotel was in the busy district but the window had sufficient soundproof to block out practically all the street noise. Unless you sit next to the window you won't hear any noise. The staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they let us got into one of our rooms first. When the second room was ready, the staff delivered the key to us. The breakfast was wonderful with different Chinese dishes everyday as well as some standard western dishes like eggs and bacon. The salad bar was fresh as well. The only issue might be the safe which was on the floor and hard to use. They have some special deals in their own website (but you need to make a deposit), so make sure to check them out.
