Very friendly staff but no english spoken on reception (unless you are lucky enough to get the manager lady). Rooms VERY basic (large) but bedding / sheets / towels etc clean. Decent size beds too. Some wardrobe / drawers broken but shower room / toilet serviced and cleaned adequately. No in-room safe but ok to leave things at reception safe. Good security guards etc outside. Warning - no AC except for the room (which was not so effective). But there is a good pool to use for cooling down. Absolutely nowhere near any BTS or MRT station. Must use public buses (good luck with that !!!) or taxis. No tourists or other westerners. Actually, I really enjoyed staying there - more authentic with mainly Thai guests. Breakfast was OK too. Had many laughs chatting to reception staff as they were really friendly and always keen to help. Can't beat the value for money (about £12 per night). I would stay here again just for the fun !!!
