I am leaving this hostel today and it’s has been truly wonderful. The staff are the most polite most helpful people you could wish to meet. The free breakfast was a surprise and really set us up for a few busy days in Bangkok. The surrounding area of the hostel is very good for couples or solo travellers. There is a market nearby and street food on every corner. 20 minute walk to Koasan Road and it’s just one straight, very safe and friendly road to get there. Will be booking to come back when next in Bangkok.

The hostel is some 20 min walk from Khaosan area, which is a plus if you like quiet part of town. Our room was nicely decorated with some paintings and colorful bedings. Double bed was comfortable, AC worked well and there was enough space even the room was not big. It was clean as well as attached bathroom with all amenities we needed. Some rooms are big enough for families with children, There is a small common area in the basement. The receptionists were super friendly and helpful, We could leave our luggage at reception as we were leaving late in the afternoon, We found that part o town interesting: vegetable-fruit market just around the corner, some street food, coffee and sweet shop, 7/11, public library with free PC and internet, some temples, royal buildings, Police museum.... And the local bus station is just a few steps away

We had a triple room on the upper floor (305) with air conditioning, fridge, two leather beds (queen and single), a sofa, and table, and a nice shower with seat toilet. The hostel was quiet and the receptionists willing to help. The housekeeping is done upon request. There is a laundry machine for 40 THB. There is a little living room after the entrance, which is however dark and with no air conditionning. THB 500 is requested as deposit for the key. Payment in the hostel in cash. Unlike other reviews, we found that there are a lot of restaurants nearby, cheap local ones in the hostel street, others with higher standard at 20 minutes walk (we highly recommend Juntun). The center is easy to reach by bus (Wat Pho, 15 minutes with bus 12 to south), as well as the Chatuchak market (20 minutes with bus 3 to north). The bus costs between 6.5 and 15 for one ride, the different rates are not clear to us. A taxi to the airport costs around 525 THB + 75 for tolls when there is some jam.
