Q Hotel

I booked this hotel in a rush as I had an unexpected trip to Bangkok. It was not bad, a little bit far from any of the main tourist areas, but there is a river boat about 10 minutes walk away and the airport train is also close (but maybe a short taxi ride rather than a walk). I didn't eat in the hotel but the food looked ok. The staff were fine, but I didn't really interact with them much. They offer safety deposit boxes for free which is good. My room overlooked the car park but it was pretty quiet. The AC is a but weak but it does the job. The lights were very dim though. The bed was comfortable though and the bathroom was also a good size and kept clean. I probably wouldn't stay here again if I came to Bangkok as I would like to be a bit more central, but if all you need its cheap and cheerful place to sleep then it's perfect. It's about 40 minutes by taxi to the airport too, but in light traffic I'd imagine it takes less time.

Really good price for this location. Room is normal to poor. Lobby is nice but the room and other areas are old. Cleanliness is ok. Staffs are nice. Safe place to stay. Suitable for whose who just want to have some place to sleep.

Positives: 1. We arrived early in the morning and they let us check in early without any extra charges 2. The hotel is quite and peaceful 3. There are food options nearby (but BKK pretty much has food options everywhere) Negatives: 1. There is an English barrier with the staff although they seemed sweet 2. The locker is downstairs in the lobby and not in the room 3. The bathroom was smelly and had a leak in the tap that was not fixed over our 3 night stay 4. Metro is very far away from this hotel (Biggest drawback)
