All the photos of this hotel must be twenty years old at least. Everything is dilapidated and deteriorating further. Outside is dirty, peeling paint and broken signage. The lobby stinks with old stained carpet, dust and faded flowers and vases, etc. We were given a double room when clearly twin beds were requested. Second room worse than first but similarly bad. These features were Bathroom ceiling falling in, bath tub filthy, shower screens striped with so much soap scum, a privacy screen was unnecessary, Mirror frame rotten and broken bits on vanity. Toilet flusher leaked and sprayed onto wall and floor. Room carpet stained and stank. Bed sheets had an unwashed appearance and insect marks with hair in the bed. Wiring was dangerous. At least twenty wires came from one socket behind bedside table. Aircon, frig and TV only worked when lights were on. Main light had no separate working switch so when we switched off the light we awoke 2 hours later short of air which was also stifling. The beds were like concrete. Every length of wallpaper was peeling and many sections stained. The frig was moldy as were the bath tiles. Breakfast was meager with cold fried eggs and shocking coffee, no tea.Nothing is nearby. Seven Eleven is across busy highway and ten minutes walk away. Only dodgy Thai food stalls edge the car park. It is next door to a large nightclub/massage place as well. WiFi does not work in rooms at all only in the lobby if you are lucky. We did not expect a palace for the price but did expect clean. We had booked for 3 nights but found a better hotel for less money next day. When we checked out early they had the hide to demand that we pay again in CASH- their shouting-. We had paid in advance via a booking website. Of course, we refused to pay twice. It was so terrible, there is more but I cannot keep going. Avoid "Royal Pacific Hotel" like the plague.

I chose this hotel based on the price and thought that it was halfway between the airport and city and the cost seemed decent. The location was horrible. It was not near anything as I far as I could tell and was seemingly under or at least right next to a highway. When I arrived and saw the location and dealt with the staff who barely spoke English I had a feeling I had chosen the wrong hotel. I was correct. When I saw the room, the door was wide open, it hadn't been cleaned yet. The room was extremely dated and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The only sense of security was a dodgy and old looking chain link lock on the door. I wasn't in the room for more than five minutes before deciding to leave and find a new place to stay. In addition, the "Business Center" was simply a desk with a computer in the lobby. Not only was the computer old but none of the staff knew the password to get into the system! I ended up losing the money I had paid for the room but it wasn't a big deal. I would never stay at that hotel again. You can most definitely find a place in a much better location in the city that is cleaner and cheaper than this hotel.

My friends and I were recommended by a local thai whom who knew at Route 66 club (fyi, this is a good club, NOT referring to the HOTEL). We took a cab (pls be prepare to speak a little thai, most cab drivers can't speak English at all) to Royal Pacific Hotel for the massage. Upon arrival, we were brought to a filthy smelly run down room with 3 mattresses on the FLOOR! The bathroom was filthy to the max with dirt on bathtub. The toilet bowl was leaking and one can see yellowish fluid on floor ( I don't have to mention here what that is). The masseurs entered the room and asked where r we from. After they knew our country, they were internally discussed in Thai about our country which I only happened to know what's the content later on. They would asked you to be naked, no paper underwear. It's very weird. After massage, they hang around pretending to be busy until a masseur demanded tip from us. We gave and they demanded more. Suddenly their face changed and were very unhappy and kept scolding us in Thai. They also kept staring at us as if we are freaks. There was tension, we quickly paid and left. DONT EVER VISIT this hotel. The building is green colour. Its away from shopping district, secluded & doesn't seem to be safe as there is a night club beside the hotel with drunk men. We will NEVER return to this hotel Again.
