DI Place Hotel

Opted for high floor room with window off the soi so a bit quieter. Room was peaceful, aircon worked well, good bed, shower, tv etc all functional and as expected. For price found it reasonable for close proximity to soi 4. Staff at check in a bit cold with no greeting or thank you etc, but you come to expect that in Thailand when you pay lower prices. Ladies flank entrance to small soi “massage massage” etc so not really good for couples and certainly not kids. Overall did the job for my 2 nights.

Stayed here multiple times over christmas as I used Bangkok as my central base. Stayed in 2 different rooms on the 4th floor, both with balconies (to narrow to sit on) both rooms was clean and tidy and of a higher standard than I was expecting given the price I was paying at peak season. Bed was excellent and good water pressure in the showers though 1 shower the water was not quite hot enough if hot showers are your thing. Yes the ground floor and I think the 2nd floor are the short time rooms with no windows, so if you take the cheapest option I think these are the rooms you will get, pay the tiny bit more and get a room on the higher levels with a window or balconey. If the sight of prostitutes bothers you then this is not only the wrong hotel but also the wrong area for you to stay in. The guy at reception was friendly and helpful, would definitly recommend staying here if you like a good room but would rather spend your cash on the nightlife thats on your doorstep

Located in a small side soi of Soi 4 you will find this budget hotel on the right side. As I just wanted a room to rest a little and take a shower before a long flight back to Europe I opted for the cheapest room at 850bath. The room was very small and the bathroom as well, and didnt have a window. It had, however, an aircon, a tv, a small table and a fridge. Considering the price it was an absolute bargain. Would I stay an entire holiday in this room? No way. But for my purpose it did the job. Staff were friendly and cleanliness was all in all satisfactory.
