Absolutely Horrible Place!! Avoid this hotel like the Plague!! Rooms stink of damp!! Probably due to the mould on the ceiling of the bathroom and the bedroom!! Flaky paint all over the room and even tho it’s Halloween time here in Bangkok I’m sure they didn’t install the cobwebs for the theme! Not used the shower yet, but bathroom already under water!! The rooms are the size of a small shipping container but I’m sure that’s an insult to shipping containers, as shipping containers I’m sure are not damp!! Staying here could and probably will seriously damage your health with chest infections breathing in the mould! Then after all of that my room on 2nd floor, (no elevator in a 4 floor hotel) in bed trying to sleep and all your hearing is the bass thru the building from the bars somewhere below in the street!! No matter what your budget, spend a few more dollars and go somewhere else!!! AVOID AVOID ACOID!!!!

I stayed for 4 nights at the Royal express hotel in Bkk. Everything about my stay was absolutely 1st class. All staff was courteous, polite, and very professional. The reception staff were excellent and dealt with all queries immediately. The housekeeping staff was very thorough and friendly. The room was very comfortable for me. I was a solo traveler and was looking for a budget stay. The hotel rooms are newly renovated and have colorful paintings. I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and will definitely stay there again and suggested to friends as well.

Stayed there for 3 nights they have renovated the hotel very nice rooms and very helpful staff paid below 1000 bht best part is its very near to bts nana station very convinient to get around no breakfast there but you can get around the hotel not so costly Will stay there again next month on my way back from Kohsamui
