Ideal Hotel Pratunam

I’m a frequent visitor of this country. And we always stayed Ideal Hotel Pratunam for almost 2 years, because of so many reasons. 1st- it’s Affordable- Clean & very SAFE! 2nd. It’s very convenient to shopping Center & food outlets. 3rd. The staff are all friendly and polite. 4rth. The rooms has complete toiletries- clean linens - and upon check in they gonna store 2doz of complimentary water in your room. So no need to spend penny for H2O, and lastly if you need any assistance the owner Mr. Vincent don’t hesitate to help at all times at a very timely manner… To those who are planning to visit Thailand. You may stay this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ microtel .

This so called 3 star hotel deserve zero stars. Firstly, we booked the hotel cause we were catfished. Booked via agoda, picture and real room is vast different. Hotel is has also many unsafe features such as fire hazzards in lobby etc. Room was musty and the air con was so old that it is not really working. On at 24degree for more than 1 hour and the room was still hot and stuffy. Bed was rock hard. This should be 1 star hotel instead. We decided to check out. When we went to counter to check out after just 1.5 hours in the room, the counter asked why. We informed them that the pic were diff and if we had known the room looked like this and the hotel is like this we would not have booked. The guys just kept quiet and said agoda non-refundable. Nothing was said and no offer to change or upgrade etc. We also informed that we will feedback to agoda and we did so the next day as the hotel shift was at night and left us exhausted.what came as a rude shock after we contacted agoda was the hotel not only catfished but also blantently lied that we did not inform them why we want to check out on the same day and they have offered upgrade and change of hotel room (which they did not. Look at the contradiction. They also lied that we were non-negoitable. Agoda on the other hand just push the responsibility to us to communicate with the hotel to get a refund. Beware of this fraud hotel. Stay at your own risk. If you wan a cheap hostel, this is the place. But a hostel will do better than this place.

Hi I’ve seen many positive feedback which made me book this place for a stay. However we were in for a surprise! - Firstly when we checked in, we noticed that the room next to us was under renovation. This explains why the floor is so dusty when we stepped into the hotel lobby. We were upset that the hotel staff did not inform us that there will be renovation during our stay. Pretty much one whole stack of rooms are under Reno. - With Reno as expected, the drilling and knocking noise starts every day from 11am till 6pm. Assuming Ure out shopping it won’t affect your rest. However for me and my friend, we take a nap in the afternoon after a tiring morning shopping. So result is, disturbed sleep. - Service - we find it basic which is slightly different from what was feedbacked earlier. Hotel staff only helps u to call cab to the airport and no where else ( I’ve stayed in other hotels in bkk and this is the first). Despite saying that we are resting, the hotel staff insisted on entering the hotel room to placed back the aircon filter ( which maybe they forgot to fix) so we had no choice. - Cleanliness is acceptable, although we saw that the table was not cleaned during our 3rd night stay. Positive part - Room is a good size, quite spacious. - Location is really good as it’s right in the heart of Pratunam street, where 7 eleven and street food is just a stone throw away. - breakfast is simple however I find it quite good. We tried the fried noodles which is rather tasty. - Free flow water at the lobby for u to take. Overall If you’re just looking for good location, can consider staying here. But I would think that there are much better hotels out there of the Same price and better. This feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel. Please avoid this month though as you will be put off by the reno!
