Best Comfort Bangkok Hotel

Located between Soi 15 and Soi 19, it is easy to use BTS and MRT and close to Terminal 21. If you request a room on the upper floor or east side when you book, the view is good. Old Rebel reminded me of the cheap inn in Soika Semson where I used to stay. I didn't expect it, but it's true that the facilities are old, and for some it's a dark and scary atmosphere. But with a swimming pool on the roof and gym, WI-FI is strong everywhere, and with a new safety deposit box, it's not as bad as I thought. It's big in the fridge so you can cool a big bottle of Chan beer. A hairdryer and a kettle are available at the front desk. I didn't have a toothbrush or shave, so I bought one in the basement of Terminal 21. Downside: Breakfast is on the same menu every day. I didn't have a problem with that, because I like Thai porridge. Coffee is only available in bitter instants. The fruit is only a small apple that is not delicious. The bath and washroom are particularly crumbly. Maybe it's a mess, but my room doesn't have hot water. There is no point in a hot tub. They use a lot of appliances made in Japan, so I wish all the water heaters were made in Japan and new lol Many Westerners and the rest saw Japanese guests. I wonder if it's a lot of mid- to long-term use. If I had a cheaper option without breakfast, I'd choose it.

We stayed at the Best Comfort Hotel in Bangkok and had a pleasant experience. The staff provided exceptional service, always going above and beyond to assist with any requests or queries I had. Their friendliness and attentiveness made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The hotel's location is ideal, with easy access to public transportation and many of the city's top attractions. While the breakfast offerings could benefit from some improvement, with a wider variety and more options for those with specific dietary requirements, the quality of the food was satisfactory. The hotel was impeccably clean, and my room was kept tidy and well-maintained throughout my stay. Overall, I would recommend the Best Comfort Hotel for its excellent location and outstanding service. However, for those looking for a hotel with more extensive facilities and a wider breakfast selection, it might not be the best choice."

We booked 2 hotel rooms here for my family in one room and my friends on another. We booked here for 5 days. I was really wanting to like this hotel bec of the area which is nearby lots of eateries, shops and etc. Needless to say, you get what you paid for. First, we had to ask to change rooms on our first arrival bec the first one they gave us was very dirty and rundown. The bathroom tub was disgusting with stains. The second one was much better but still really just not up to par. They had no more rooms to give us as we booked for the suite so we had no choice but to make do of what they gave us. We used slippers when bathing so we won’t feel disgusted while we bathe. The bathroom tub was my biggest issue. It was old, lots of stains and looked dirty; feels dirty. The breakfast was doable. Same thing everyday - sausage, eggs, bread, juice. I mean, can’t complain since it’s cheap. You get what you paid for. Could be better? Definitely but again, you get what you paid for. The pool by the rooftop was okay; looks clean. My teens used it once. It looked like it was just newly renovated. There’s a Japanese restaurant few steps away from the hotel that serves really good Japanese dishes and there’s also laundry area just walking distance, which is a plus. We hired a private driver that toured us around Bangkok so we were mostly out most of the day which helps. This is not the kind of hotel for you to stay in and to relax the whole day as it is quite old and a bit rundown. It is definitely not aesthetically pleasing either. I’m sure there’s other hotels in Bangkok with similar rate that can offer so much better than this. Don’t let the pictures deceive you. Not even mine. Haha. A one timer for us. Never again.
