Chadvara Place

Staff were great and friendly. Location was okay but items were seen moving when I woke up. I placed my phone on the side of the bed but were seen on the other side after I wake up. Travelling solo might have its disadvantages, other than that a happy stay for me.

We choose this place because it is located on Sukhumvit Soi 13 which is very convenience. However, upon arrival, we were greatly disappointed. We had made the booking several months in advance. It was a shock when we arrived to see the road into the accommodation were under-going major road work. The accessibility into the property is almost impossible. It was muddy and no public transportation wanted drive us in or pick us up. We had to walked in and out of the place daily through the muddy floor and on our first night, we even had to walked through water to get back into the accommodation. When we questioned the person in charge upon arrival, they just told us, sorry, they were not aware. And further probing, only we found out that it is a 6 months road work. So, don't tell us that you are not aware. At least have decency to reach out to us and let us know before we arrive. On our 2nd day, the air conditioner in the living room and 2nd bedroom were leaking water. So we only had 2 rooms out of the 3 bedrooms that we booked that we could sleep in. What's most disappointing is that the 2nd bedroom air conditioner took 2 days before it was fixed. On the positive note, the person in charge are helpful whenever she could. No luggage storage available. So not recommended for those on late flight out and wishes to leave luggage for storage temporary after check out hours. Overall, it was a disappointing stay although it was in a great location (if not because of the major road work). No tuk tuk shuttle available to the main road provided. Wifi is very bad here too.

Very well placed in Sukhumvit district close to skytrain and metro, owner could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Excellent and extremely good value spacious 2 bed apartment (4 or us), with very good facilities. A pleasure to come back to after a day in the humid heat of March. Would definitely return.
