OYO 231 Atlas Bangkok Hotel near Bumrungrad International Hospital

Continuing my search for budget hotels near the BTS/Metro System, this one is currently around $30 USD on Agoda. The bathroom was small and simple, but very clean. Few amenities were provided. The hot water worked well as did the air-conditioning & Wi-Fi. The room was also small & simple but clean. My room faced Sukhumvit Road, so there was street noise. The other side of the building faces Soi 7/1, a bar/red-light street. I would stay here again.

Right next to BTS Nana station, right next to SOI 7/1. The location is very good and affordable. When you enter SOI 7/1, there are a lot of people who call in. Let's be careful there. There is no dangerous atmosphere. Two bottles of free water are also included. There's no divider between the toilet and the shower, so the toilet seat might get wet when you shower. We had a refrigerator and an electric kettle, but not a microwave. There was a safety deposit box. But the biggest problem is the noise. I don’t know if it was a bar or something that was going on on its own on the street until 4am or 5am, but it was so loud that I couldn’t sleep. Too bad.

I have stayed at the atlas no fewer than 15 times over the past 2 years. The location simply cannot be beat right 30 ft from the sky Train entrance which can take you anywhere in Bangkok. Also very close to terminal 21 shopping mall. I always stay in the superior room it's very little more and a bit nicer than the standard room. The rooms free water coffee a kettle for hot water refrigerator very strong air conditioner 42 inch flat screen TV with very very fast internet I plugged my fire stick in and streamed IPTV without any buffering or freezing. For the price in that location it simply just can't be beat the staff are very nice I don't know if it's common but every time I've gotten there before check-in time if my room was available they gave it to me gladly in one case I was 3 hours early I was going to drop my bags and they said oh no your room is okay you can have it now which was brilliant. I have stayed in over 400 rooms in the past 3 or 4 years here in Thailand and this rates right up there with the best of them
