Baantoom Village and Resort

Good location but very dirty and old , more mosquitoes , We have bad breakfast only one dish , very expensive that compare with service , This is a bad experience in baantoom resort .We will not come back anymore.

We stayed one night at Baantoom Village & Resort. As we walked in, we found the room was not cleaned thoroughly because of our room smelly when the staff turned on the AC for welcoming us. The curtain was so dusty. We could tell the mattress was old, dusty as my body sinks when I lie down and bed sheet, pillows were smelly and not bouncy anymore. Moving on to the bathroom, towels smelled like they haven't been washed for a year. I can't bear for it to touch me as I feel like I have to bathe again every time I dry myself with the towel. Furthermore, we found a large cockroach in the shower. It's unacceptable, we went to the receptionist for changing the room. They took me to choose 2 rooms between Toomorange and Toompurple room types. Firstly, we chose the Toomorange but the AC wasn't working, so we had only one choice was Toompurple. To be fair the room wasn't smelly like Toombuilding but it was still dusty and old. A highlight was the cockroach, mosquito and ant in the room and restroom again. I was thinking to check out and back to Bangkok but it rained non-stop and heavy. So, I and my friend spent a bad night and we couldn't sleep cuz dust allergies, mosquito and cockroach. In a nutshell, I was very disappointed. I love to support our local hotel. But after this horrible experience, I will never come back.

The resort is quite beautifully decorated with various type of greeneries. But the place is poorly maintained. All electronics looks like from twi decades ago. Chairs are rusty and moldy. Overall, not impressed with the resort. Nevertheless, he beach is nice and clean.
