Inthanon Highland Resort

I had planned to stay here for some time as the setting looked good. I was not disappointed...it is a rustic idyllic place. I had a lake view cabin which was spacious and clean.all amenities were fine and true h 4g worked well enough to watch Netflix! It really is a tranquil dream location.Mr nine the manager is an exceptional host..so kind and willing to help. His staff also were generous. The menu was affordable and delicious especially the cute breakfast set..the only slight negative was the weather lol..day 1 glorious day 2 and 3 grey..still managed to do hiking and birdwatching around the property.. kingfishers minivets flycatchers treepies etc..i will return

Rooms are set in extensive grounds around a lake. Room had A/C, fridge, TV, bed on a plinth. Shower room had on demand hot water and a reasonable flow. Outdoor seating area. Lovely staff, good food, basic breakfast of yoghurt, fruit, toast eggs, bacon. Lovely fresh fruit drinks. Sell ice cream!

Like so many reviewers have mentioned, we stayed here on an organized birding holiday in the nearby Doi Inthanon NP. The lodge is set around a small pond and the birding is quite good right on the premisis. Our cabin "Green Cochoa" was very quaint with king size bed and small deck. The cabin, could use a bit of an upgrade however, as outlets were few and places to store clothing mostly nonexistent. WiFi was available at the restaurant but not in the cabins. The breakfasts were standard fare (egg, toast, etc) the dinners were fairly good traditionalThai dishes.
