Haak Boutique Hotel

I recommend this 6 rooms boutique hotel for tourist who wanna go to Mon Jam, Mae Rim in Chiang Mai. This hotel is cozy and private for couple and family. The owner is willing to serve you with smile and prepare breakfast (fried egg and sausage or rice congee) by herself. Coffee and wifi also available.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in order to be in closer proximity to the Mae Sa waterfall and had a great experience. The owners were excellent In responding to multiple questions via email before our stay. Staff had everything prepared for our late check-in, and rented us a motorbike for the next day. Breakfast was included, and was very nice. Cute coffee shop in the lobby, where we were also able to eat supper. Our room was very big, comfortable bed, very clean, big windows, and modern. Wifi was excellent. The hotel is a quick motorbike ride away from the Mae Sa waterfall, tiger kingdom, poopoo paper park, orchid farm (I think is what it's called), and other attractions around Mae Rim. We chose to stay here so we could get to these places easily on our own, rather than booking a tour. The hotel has a huge, lovely yard. We were happy for a very peaceful break from the city. However, it is a little distance from the city, so not the most convenient for quick access to nightlife, etc., if that's what you're looking for. I think we paid just under 300 baht for a tuk tuk ride from the city centre. Best of all, staff was amazingly kind and helpful. They knew from our emails before checking in that we wanted to rent a motorbike, so had it ready and brought us the keys in the morning without us having to even mention it. Best of all... We had an early morning flight, so staff got up to make us breakfast at 5:00a.m. (!) and went way above and beyond to arrange to get us to the airport when it proved to be difficult to get a tuk tuk that early in the morning. The most hospitality we've experienced anywhere on our trip!!

We were there for Yi Peng Festival. Spent 2 nights in the hotel. We enjoyed really good hospitality from the people running the place. The hotel is a little out of the busy town with very limited access to necessity and transportation, but all can be arranged with the hotel. We were really pampered by the serene environment surrounding the hotel with one of the best coffee and smoothie that we have had in our life. Overall it was a really good experience with much to improved.
