Happy House Hotel

We spent two night in this guesthouse during our motorbike trip to the North. This little hotel is cheap, very clean and quiet. Alex the owner provided us great advices making our stay wonderful. I will definitely come back for my next trip to the North.

Organized a tour of an elephant Sanctuary and overnight stay and was charged 800 USD for a hike in the jungle and a visit to a yard with elephants chained up and no place to stay. Do not do business with these people as they will cheat you! was charged THB 28,0000 for a Happy House 2 Days 1 Night tour from Panda Tour for 7 people. The brochure states a visit to a tribal village and an overnight stay at an elephant camp and that is also what we were told and expected. Neither one occurred. We were given a trek to a waterfall only and then returned home at 4pm with no overnight stay

The place was exactly as advertised. We stayed for 4 nights but our room was cleaned every single day like it's a new check in. Place is quite off the center but the scooter rental in the hotel was smooth so distance was not a bothersome. The owners were very accommodating and kind especially when getting help in directions.
