This hotel is cheap with an excellent location near Warorot Market and plenty of good transport connections. That is all that is good. The interior looks like a prison. The aircon was leaking. The towels were stained and made me itch days after leaving. Probably the worst hotel I have stayed in Thailand.

The location is very good, it's 80 meters from one of the most famous noodle shops in the North (40 THB). Maid service is excellent. Linen service is delivered, every day..some towels are old, but they have been washed. 9 USD a night? But you will read a lot of complaints from malcontents...take with a grain of salt..."they didn't provide toothpaste" or a first timer complaining about their English....they've rented rooms to 100,000 foreigners, they know what they are doing. I would take this hotel over a guest house any day of the week...because you have so much better security here. Guests are welcome to your room, just don't be too loud.

Room has old style tv, table, and chair. Place is showing its age. Some furniture needs to be replaced. Some staff were friendly, others not. There are two stereo speaker stores down the street. They sometimes blast music in the morning and afternoon for short periods of time. I'm sure others in the area hear it. The biggest problem is wifi. Signal is poor and disappears anytime. Signal is bad in the whole hotel, including the lobby. It makes it difficult to research and book things. The room is okay, but wifi ruins things. Someone wrote a review about doing laundry at the hotel and having a bad experience. There are many laundry shops towards and in the old part of the city. They start at 30 baht per kilo.
