Sixty House

I staid at Sixty House for over a week and it soon became a second home. While the rooms are a bit small that is to be expected in Asia. The rooms were decorated very beautifully, they were incredibly clean, and the hotel staff was so attentive. I became very ill in Chiang Mai and the staff checked in on me, they were constantly offering me fresh Thai fruit to try and they helped me book (and get a discount) on many tours and bus rides. Not to mention the location is ideal. It is set back on a quiet road, but a short walk to he corner and it opens up to the square where most festivals are held, the 2 largest night markets run along this road as well, and ATMs and 7/11s are plentiful. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Very cheap, and the only other good thing is the location. Its only a few hundred meters to the tha pae gate. But it's dirty and smells funky. Thai people urinated in the alley, wich added to the scent. The bed made me itch, not sure if it was bedbugs or anything else. I won't stay there again.

Me and my boyfriend usually gets cheep room, and at times we been unsatisfied. But now i felt compelled to write a review to help other travellers. My bf was really unhappy with the lack of cleansiness, so I tried to get the maid to clean our room. But the lady was angry with me, and in the end, said that we could move to another place. They dident have housekeeping. I got a bad vibe, and it took a while to forget it.
