Tadkham Village Chiang Mai

Brief background for context. Traveling South East Asia as a couple (30 years old) on a budget of $100(US) per day ($700 per week) Irish and Canadian, accountants in the Caribbean in a previous time. Grew up as a scout so no stranger to back packing. Having traveled Thailand for a month at this point, can hand over heart state it was be best accommodation we had stayed in. Breakfast included (it was filling and healthy) Room was quiet and well air conditioned. Location wise you are just outside the old town maybe 5 minutes walk to get to south entrance with a night market right at this entrance. Staff below very helpful and can get you discounts on different tours and excursions. Will do all the booking for you. They threw in a free taxi to the airport at the end for booking the excursions through them ( Elephant sanctuary with out riding elephants and a cooking class are very much worth it) Sad to leave the place in the end. Also as we were back packing we needed laundry done. Place around the corner and he will bring it back up to the hotel once its ready.

A lovely boutique hotel in a tranquil spot, ideally situated just a short walk to the old town. The hotel staff are amazing and will help you with all your needs. I would definitely stop there again if I were to return to Chiang Mai.

This is lovely calming place to stay just 5 minutes from the south gate into the old town. Beautiful rooms with a big bed and very clean. The team are courteous and helpful, and available all hours. They can also arrange tours. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Rooms are over 3 floors. There is no lift so ask for a room on the ground floor if you need it. Breakfast choices are eggs, sausages, cereal, toast, teas, coffees etc
