Thailand Guest House

Wonderful week in January at the Thailand Guest House which is in an excellent location. The accommodation was comfortable but the main appeal was the warmth that was conveyed to us during our stay. We had several wonderful meals, plenty of tasty drinks and lots of laughs with the staff and patrons. When visiting Chiang Mai we will always stay with our mates Justin and Mon.

I fortuitously came across this place after abandoning the original place I intended to stay....after seeing it. So this place was a welcome relief as it’s clean, modern, friendly & safe. The place is run by Oz / Thai couple Justin & Mon. Who are so friendly & helpful. They have a really lovely staff in Annie, Pimm, Nuht & Thaa (among others I didn’t meet). They really made my stay. The rooms are nice and clean. The bathroom is effectively a wet room & I would say the size of the rooms & bathrooms are typical for the area & price range. Good value. Downstairs there is a cafe / bar area which has a few now local expats, which creates a nice friendly vibe to the place. The street the guesthouse is on has a wealth of bars & places to eat of varying size. Overall I thought this was a great base to discover Chiang Mai. Particularly given I didn’t even intend to stay here, then stayed 10 days. Thanks for the great stay!

Thailand Guest House was a beautiful and friendly place to stay. The rooms were very clean, the air conditioning was cold, the drinks and company were perfect. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Chiang Mai to stay in this welcoming place.
