Tikky Place

We ended up being moved here after Expedia overbooked somewhere else. When I saw this hotel was £18 a night I could not believe it!! Firstly, the location isn't great. It's a good 20 minute walk to the edge of town. The rooms are basic, there was animal droppings on the bathroom floor (I've uploaded pics) and a lot of brown marks on the wall. We asked for our bathroom to be cleaned and both were still there after it had been 'cleaned'... The bedroom linen and walls were stained. TV had one English Channel. Breakfast consisted of bread to toast yourself and I assume earlier on there had been ready fried eggs sitting in a metal tray. The staff are usually friendly although had some trouble communicating with the guy when we were trying to find somewhere for our bags. The wifi is also terrible/worst I've had in Asia! So all in all, if you were paying £5 for the room id say you get what you pay for. But you could get a much cleaner and centrally located guest house for a fraction of the price!
