The hotel and the room were clean, which is the only positive aspect. Unfortunately, the room was extremely cold, even colder than the outside temperature, and this was in January. Because of this, I got sick, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Additionally, every time I plugged something into the power socket, sparks came out, which is quite concerning from a safety perspective. Recommended for no more than one night.

Beautiful escape and wonderful location! Just the right balance of nature and rest, and being able to explore Chiang Rai. Kudos to our hosts for accommodating us with wonderful meals, guidance, support with trips and drivers…and more. We are grateful for the extra support with our unique needs during our stay. May your “home” continue to be what you, and your guests, need it to be!

To start off, the location of the homestay was amazing. Situated ideally between both the bustling city and pristine mountains, it allowed me to get a taste of both the urban and natural culture of Chiang Rai. Both the owners and staff (as well as the cute little dog) were very welcoming and made me feel right at home in the spacious yet modern room I stayed in. Food-wise, there were both delicious home-cooked western and Thai options, as well as amazing home roasted coffee. The homestay has a nice nature vibe to it with its vegetation and trees which gives a calming peace to the location. All in all, was an amazing trip and would highly recommend, even more for people who plan on discovering the serene nature and buzzing city and culture.
