I'm not coming back! The first evening I wanted to take a shower I asked to change rooms because the shower had no pressure.The second room the beds were very uncomfortable, very hard.As soon as I woke up my room and bathroom smelled horrible of cigarettes due to the neighbor who smoked.As a non-smoker it is unacceptable to suffer this for free, to have to breathe cigarette smoke.Inadmissible in a hotel.You must prohibit under penalty of a fine and check from time to time the equipment of the rooms to avoid conflicts.

A modern building with relatively large rooms that offer everything you could expect as a solo traveler or as a couple. No frills like fabric slippers or bathrobes to give the impression of a higher standard than is actually offered. My room on the 5th floor was very spacious, large comfortable bed, TV, desk, wardrobe, small fridge, water kettle, glasses, large windows, with a real walk-in balcony, bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and sink with enough storage space for your own washing and care utensils. Everything was spotlessly clean and immaculate. If it is not a new building, the rooms have obviously been renovated with a lot of knowledge of the needs of a traveler and with a passion for aesthetic solutions on a small scale. Only in the bathroom does the beautiful large mirror above the sink only serve its purpose for some of the guests who are no taller than about 160cm. The taller ones have to bend down quite a bit to shave. Still 5 out of 5 points; if everything everywhere was as clean, well-kept and functional as it is here... it would be fun to bend down a little. The fact that there are no tea and coffee bags next to the kettle is not a disadvantage considering the extremely reasonable price, which even includes the large, quiet outdoor pool. The staff are businesslike and helpful. The location is good for travelers who have to leave by bus in the morning at Pattaya North Terminal. You can reach it in 3 minutes on foot, even with a lot of luggage. If you want to stay right on the beach, the location is not really for you. I felt very comfortable there and will stay there again.

Arrived at the Zen for 1 night over Christmas. The Hotel is a little tucked away and a 40 minute walk to the bright lights of the beach road and surroundings. Fortunately for me I love waking but I can see how it would cause problems to others. Rooms were a good size, clean on the inside but the balcony was full of dust and had not been swept or mopped in weeks. Facilities were basic and 1 pool was not available- there were several broken tiles around the pool too. Breakfast was basic too and mostly unappealing by the time I arrived at 9.30am. Staff were friendly. Overall, for the price I thought it was pretty good but if you are expecting luxuries then the Zen is not for you
