A.A. Pattaya Hotel

This is not a luxury hotel with all the amenities. However, it's a nice comfortable hotel in a great location across the street from the beach, and at a very good price. The staff is very pleasant and professional. There was a problem with my room when I arrived, which they attempted to fix. When they couldn't, they immediately moved me to an upgraded suite. There is a nice pool & deck on the 4th floor overlooking the main road & beach, which provides a perfect sunset view. There's also a specious seating area in the lobby. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but is close to many dining options, from fast food to sit-down restaurants. They also offer fast laundry service. I would not hesitate to stay at AA Hotel again or to recommend it to friends.

This hotel is in serious need of renovation. It is in a good location near the beach, but it is shabby and foreboding. We stayed for three nights. Although the double room we booked was clean, it was so outdated that we felt like we’d been transported back to the '80s. The bathtub was rusted, so I had to wear flip-flops when using the shower, which had a curtain stained along the bottom. We even had an old 80's phone left in the wardrobe, why wasn't it thrown away ? The reception area was rundown, with pool tables covered in cardboard and clutter scattered around. The leather settees looked liked they hadn't been sat on for years. The small gift shop in the reception area was closed, and items inside were covered in dust, it obviously hadn't been open for years. This hotel gives the impression that it’s simply running out the clock, with both the appearance and the attitude of the staff suggesting they know it's on its last legs. The pool itself is nice, but the wooden sunbeds lack cushions. The only cushion we found was ripped, with foam spilling out of the side. There are no shades, so while the view is pleasant, lying on an uncomfortable bed under the blazing sun isn’t exactly inviting. The pictures to advertise this hotel do not reflect the state this hotel is now in. They were taken a long time ago when this hotel was in its full swing! Would we stay here again? Definitely not !!

FLEE this “hotel” that has only the name “hotel” First and foremost thieves! A small blood stain on the sheet because of a small wound and they ask you 300 baht for cleaning. Introduce you to the linen at the Lobby... in front of the other guests! No need to worry about the private domain! A scam surely proven with other customers! Regarding the hotel itself! Internet connection that keeps breaking. Bulbs HS in the bedroom. TV out of order. No safe in the room. Staff in sports jerseys (unsuitable for a hotel) supposed to have this standing! Dirty room. Hotel badly maintained. Deplorable elevator floor (can we call it a floor by the way?!). Ancestral and noisy air conditioning. Two simple little soaps in the bathroom (no shampoo)! One of the few “hotels” to ask for a “deposit” (1000 baht) while the others practically no longer this kind of request! After this scam attempt (I paid the 300 baht anyway!) they lost 700 baht because I asked to be refunded for the night I had booked in advance and left the hotel with my 1000 deposit of course! I was so angry that when I left I kept the key to the room without doing so on purpose that they did not ask me so much the atmosphere was tense! Another loss of money for them and so much for it! And I didn’t talk about how the staff talks to you without any respect related to the fact that we are ultimately the hotel guests! Very surprised at this way of treating a hotel guest! Repeat! RUN AWAY! Do not hesitate to walk a few dozen meters and you will find for the same taken hotels much better than this hotel shame! For my case I found 10 times better at the same taken 2 soy (streets) next door!
