This is our fourth stay at the KTK and this time we have chosen to stay in the residence section for a longer stay as we have always enjoyed it so much. Sadly this time has not been as relaxing as every single day of our stay so far- now 15 days in- there have been other guests smoking cannabis at the pool area, which is a small area, and also inside at the seating area next to the gym. Despite the large no smoking signs. Whilst I know cannabis is legal now in Thailand I don’t expect to have to breath it in whilst trying to relax in what is meant to be a no smoking area. Staff have not done anything about it and simply walked past them as they sit there smoking and bothering other guests at the pool and gym area. KTK has always been our favourite hotel but if this is the start of the decline we wont be coming back to the KTK hotel or residence. But apart from this experience the hotel is lovely. The rooms are clean and modern and the pools are nice. The gym could use a few more pieces of equipment but it’s useable for a short stay. We have another 15 days here so I just hope the other guests leave soon! As I write this listening to them talking loudly and smoking their cannabis already other guests are leaving the pool area and now I will do the same…

I’ve stayed at KTK Pattaya Hotel and Residence three times in 2024, and it has consistently been a reliable choice. A welcome drink is offered on arrival, and the location is excellent — just 10 minutes from Pattaya’s bar street, yet quiet at night. The surrounding area has everything you need, including restaurants, Big C, 7-Eleven, and coin laundry. Housekeeping staff work hard every day, keeping the floor, bins, and bathroom spotless. Their consistency really makes longer stays more comfortable. The rooms are huge, includes a kitchen, bathtub and shower, plus a balcony — ideal for both short and extended visits. There’s also a small gym and an on-site restaurant, which add convenience without needing to go far.
