LK Pavilion Executive Serviced Apartment

If you like a big hotel room (?), then well, this is the place for you. I accidentally discovered LK Pavilion while on walkabout in Pattaya, several months prior to actually booking our apartments. It was a wonderful short-term stay (longer stays are available), enjoying the convenience of the location, the fantastic pool and easy going staff. It was surprisingly good value for it's size and comfort, in terms of the budget, too. I travel frequently and this friendly hotel is highly recommended by me.

This was my third time at this hotel having stayed for a month last year, I wasn't going to stay again owing to the rudeness of the staff on the last trip but decided to give it another try for a month, WHAT A MISTAKE. First of all the hotel is run down, the lifts weren't working half the time and the deck chairs were broken, the staff are painting it but it's too little too late. There were very few occupants at the hotel, owing to the poor standards, I think there were more staff than patrons and often I felt like I was the only one staying there. The maid and staff were unfriendly and gave me dirty looks so much so that I complained to the manager who offered to Bill me only for the time spent not for the full month, I decided to stay on and give it some more time which I came to regret. With about 5 days to go I decided I'd had enough and wanted to check out and stay in a REAL hotel, when I told the manager she went off her head and said I would have to pay the full month. She then lost her temper saying I was a bad person and she was going to call the police and leave a bad comment against my passport, her son stood behind her with a baton trying to add menace to the situation despite me being calm. She then said I had to leave straight away and never to stay at the hotel again (as if I would want to lol). when I told them I would give them a review of this they said they didn't care and nobody read the reviews! I came back down and they let me off the 5000 baht but we're still rude, I managed to leave my baggage at a nearby restaurant the owner saying she was also aware that they were extremely rude at this hotel. It was a nightmare experience that almost ruined my trip but I managed to book into another hotel which was totally opposite and gave 5 star service so I ended the trip on a happier note. This is an honest and true account of what actually happened, please take my advise from first hand experience and do not stay at this hotel, in pattaya there are allot of hotel options and just about every one of them is better than this one!
