The check-in was very good, as was the help with the luggage from the taxi to the room. The facilities are outdated but well maintained. I was positively surprised by the pool and the friendly staff member who was supervising there. The room cleaning always came much too late. The breakfast has declined a bit, but it is still acceptable. The problem is that sometimes, as I have often experienced, there is a lot of noise at night, usually caused by young Indian guests. The absolute disappointment was at checkout when we were charged for water. Neither my partner nor I used any paid water from the hotel room at any time. Such unfriendly actions by the staff also drive away and annoy guests. For me, it is finally clear. I will never consider booking LK The Empress again.

Great location in the middle of things, excellent breakfast buffet, friendly and helpful staff, and the rooms were clean, comfortable and relatively spacious. Only drawback was my room overlooking small soi was a bit noisy. If that bothers you, request a room away from the street

Hi i’m writing this review I have stayed at the LKEmpress six times in the last few years and I’ve always enjoyed my stay and had a good experience… A lot has changed in one year there is a few staff members that I’ve been there for as long as I’ve been going there and are really great and … there are some new members of staff which are very polite happy nothing is too much trouble especially pool manager Who has taken great pride in upgrading the Sun lounges are towels laid on the Sun lounges comes over speaks with you ask if there’s anything that you need … he has created a very calm environment poolside and he is such a happy easy-going person… as I said before I stayed here quite a few times and got used to the room gradings I made a mistake when I first visited there with a city view but learnt that you have to ask or book Seaview room to get the best view of the Beach… when I booked I was unable to get the Seaview so I’ve booked Paul view deluxe Jacuzzi room which was fine it had a little view but I think you have to go to the seventh and eighth floor to get the best view we had a problem with some people that were next door to our room went down and complained the next morning they offered us two rooms to pick to move which was really good and I felt that the complaint was dealt with quickly and respectfully this has never happened to us before but the staff were amazing…. I have read lots of reviews saying that the staff are rude and the hotel is not really worth the money but I book every year and look forward to going and I’ve had amazing trip couldn’t fault it thank you to all the team Ann
