JOMTIEN COZY INN

The hotel is located in South Jomtien, behind the huge D Varee hotel along a quiet side street five minutes' walk from the beach and the blue buses to Jomtien and Pattaya. Very quiet day and night, nice pool, lots of trees all around, plenty of parking space, friendly management, very fast wifi, quite large and clean room, convenient bathroom, efficient aircon. American breakfast is only 110 baht (I didn't try). The downside was that no cleaning was done until I asked, and then the old towels were left in after new ones were brought in and one of the two bins wasn't emptied. The place is run entirely by women who are very friendly but seem to see the building as an extension of their their living room and running the hotel as an afterthought. At this price (900 baht), this is very good value for Jomtien in the high season. If the management signed up with Agoda, Booking.com, or similar, this place should be busy every night instead of being mostly empty. But don't be put off. The side street the hotel is on and the area are very safe for walking, even at night. If you like a quiet life by the beach, this is a very good choice.

A friend recommended this hotel. I am glad I found it. Very friendly staff. Food was excellent.
