A hidden gem, like really hidden but in a great location. Just yards / meters from Walking Street and across the road from the beach. Currently just offering rooms, no food or drinks, but there are lots of places to eat and drink close by. Good value, clean and comfortable.

Located close to the beach and Walking street yet quiet enough to sleep well. Staff friendly and helpful. Avoid the first floor rooms above the Mc Donalds store, it can be a little noisey. It is a good value for money hotel.

There are large rooms in this ageing hotel. Poor view over a car park at the back even though I paid for a larger superior room. No pool, no safe and no tea making facilities. The shower was good, TV had plenty of channels, bed was comfy and the room was quiet. Location is very close to Walking Street so depends on your own view as to whether that is good or bad Can do better elsewhere for the same price with a decent breakfast included. I only ate one breakfast here even though I paid for 4. I was put off by the small mites running around on the plate served with fruit, made me wonder about the kitchen cleanliness and freshness of the produce.
