The Lounge Hotel

We stayed in this hotel during March this year. It is out of town, escaping the sleaze of Walking Street and other areas that seem to be what Pattaya is famous for. It was fairly clean, although the bathroom needed a definite refurb. That said, we stayed in a budget room and ultimately got what we paid for. The long haired Russian (?) chap who seemed to be on reception was helpful enough. It is close to a large Golden Buddha which is worth a visit (and the climb!) The only genuine negative was that it is situated above a Harley Davidson workshop, so be prepared to be woken up by the roaring of motorcycles! Although this may be a positive I guess? But not really a big deal for us. Walk to town is down a steep path through a small park and past the main tourist office, which is helpful.

I stayed for four nights at the Lounge Hotel last march. The hotel is very quiet and cozy. If you come to Pattaya is not for nightlife, this is place for you. Although up to Walking Street from here is also not far

Guys, I am not big fan of Pattaya, but this hotel just turned my opinion upside down. Good location, friendly staff (though mostly Russians-oriented, yet still very friendly). Rooms are clean and cozy, conveniently located beach is absolutely nice. Pratumnak area is something new for me, but next time I will stay there and I will chose The Lounge Hotel. Thank you for making my trip wonderful.
