Yiasu Serviced Apartments

This is my 2nd time staying at Yiasu, and on both occasions i have been very impressed with the all round service and hospitality that i have received. The location is perfect for me, right beside the beach, but nicely enough hidden away from all the bars and restaurants, but only a short walk, songtaew or cycle away. I'm always greeted with a warm smile and friendly conversation by the owners who i have begun to get to know; the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable; we also have a good size outdoor area and widescreen tv with many channels! I will continue to stay here when i stay in Jomtien/Pattaya, as in addition to the above the value for money is very competitive.

Jomtien Beach is away from the hustle and bustle (and bar scene) of Pattaya. It is a 2-3 hour bus ride from Bangkok on the big busses (and affordable---about $12-15 USD one way, as I recall.) I recommend Yiasu in Jomtien as a nice, affordable place with a personal touch. I stayed in one of the larger rooms. It had a good size tv and sitting area with a couch, a small patio, and its own bathroom and shower. The breakfast was a delicious Greek breakfast of eggs, cheese, fruit & honey, and lovely bread. You can walk out the door and get Thai food, but starting your day with a Greek breakfast is a lovely start to the day! The place is not far from the ocean and has beautiful sunsets. I was a single woman traveler and felt very safe here.

Almost a world into itself, this haven is managed by a small family unit (Greek/Thai : wife/husband team with a full-time helper). Hara maintains a family hospitality; cooking meals and showing cheer! Two separate buildings: one a Serviced Apartments and the other a BnB). The former features full-facility units; most occupied by long-term residents. Even the BnB has guests staying long term and returning year after year! Essentially, well appointed bedsits ; guests have a separate kitchen to prepare their own meals. Yiasu is located some distance from central Jomtien, yet shops and eateries are within walking distance. Truly, an ideal location for escape; feels just like coming home! Good WiFi, TV
