Lovelly hotel. Right on the centre of chumpon. Very clean, spacious room. Complimentary coffee and tea in reception each morning. Booked for 2 nights, but I arrived at 5am off the overnight bus and they let me check in straight away which was a great help. Would certainly stay here again. Same price per night as many of the nearby hostels.

This is a local hotel. You can make reservations through Agoda, but it's cheaper to reserve at the hotel on the day. The location is good, about a 5-minute walk from the station and the city center. The fan room had an old-style window like those in Japanese toilets that could not be opened or closed. It didn't bother me because the surroundings were quiet. The room was not hot and was comfortable. There were commercial facilities such as food stalls, KFC, and a local supermarket in the city center, and food stalls lined up near the station. There was hot water, but it was barely hot enough. There was a water server on each floor so that cold water could be drunk at any time. There was also WIFI in the room.

Sure this is an older hotel but I thought it was very nice! The room was very clean. Large flat screen TV with English movie channels. Small fridge, towels and water provided. The hotel staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The hotel is located near the train station and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants.
