Siam Society Beach Resort

I bought promotion from event 2500 b for 2 nights in tent style including breakfast Here are my review 1 tent , from outside a bit old , outdoor shower is ok. Air con is good enough 2 environment in the resort, more tree , natural with small pool which is fine however resort is need to renovate in order to make it look more good 3 beach front is ok just a bit walk to enjoy the sea 4 breakfast , just small portion with coffee, orange juice and bread. Additional cofffee cost 20 baht 5 half day trip for skin diving (8-1.30 pm) hotel charge me 550 per pax but in fact if we directly buy from the diving boat is only 400. I think resort over charge me too much and i have to go to pier by my own. The 150 charge at least should take me to pier Overall if i have to revisit in that area i may find other resort unless if - this resort is going to renovate - not too much over charge for half day trip - more service mind more professional

Good Point 1. Located with tree around resort & have private beach 2. Calm Weak Point 1. Dirty bathroom 2. Dirty swimming pool, We brought swim suit but didn't use it coz pool was too far from clean. 3. So so Breakfast. Potato source was so bad. 4. Private beach zone has high slope & don't have umbra at the beach to take a nap on beach chair

we stayed for 3 nights in the tent which we found to be a pleasant experience. the tent was a nice size with a tv, fridge and good a/c and was very clean. as an american the tv was not good as the cable provided was mostly in thai - no english stations. bedsheets were clean and bed (queen size) comfortable but only 1 bedside lamp for reading but not really a big deal. the tents seem a bit on the older side but the zippers work properly - important for a/c, safety and keeping bugs out. only complaint about the room was the shower - low water pressure and hard to regulate the hot water - it was either too hot or too cold and impossible to get warm water. but loved the outdoor bathroom feel. the pool was nice but over chlorinated. didn't notice the filter on and needed the bottom to be vacuumed. they provided abf breakfast that was plentiful and good but nescafe coffee not fresh brewed. many seaside restaurants are 10 min walk along beach. overall the resort is very nice for peaceful rest. husband & wife owners very friendly and attentive as were the small staff.
