Chumphon Sunny Beach Resort

Nice enough basic bungalows (at a good price) with mosquito net and air con right on the long sandy beach looking out to lots of small islands - has a small restaurant (closes at 8pm) with friendly helpful staff - a pleasant relaxing stay for the night

This seaside resort, despite the almost 30 years ago, while I was on vacation. Even from the outside it is a simple bungalow. The rooms are clean, a lot of attention. Although the rooms and bathrooms are not luxurious. It is something that we are satisfied to have come away quietly. You can eat a lot of seafood, local time, the first week we had the pleasure to watch the sunrise in the morning. Walking on the beach And a scenic drive Visiting the next village.

Place really needs freshened up and updated. The price was cheap (<$30USD) and I guess I got what I paid for but it was not pleasant. The bedding smelled horrible. Sleeping on the floor may have been softer than the bed. It was clean other than that, but was very very old and run down. They have a great location right on the beach but they need to spend some money on updating everything. I would have been happy paying double if things had been better.
