Blue Village Krabi Resort

This cheap gem of a place is about 10 mins walk from Ao Nang beach ... They have a very basic breakfast buffet, besides that they do not have any room service etc ... Their rooms are not fancy, but they are comfortable and you can really enjoy a peaceful stay over there ..Staff is friendly and always have a smile on their face as they try to assist you in any of your travel needs ... They have an open pool, not the cleanest waters if i have to say so , had a very strong smell of chlorine in it ... Most cabins are rented by families and its quite affordable between 25-35USD per night ... They dont have wifi except for at the lobby and they are upfront about it right from the start which is what i liked about them ...

The huts are tired but clean The bed was basic as just a mattress on the floor but was comfortable so we slept well. The breakfast was better than expected as it was served outside by the pool. I was expecting only fruit, tea, coffee, and toast, orange juice and toast from the buffet, but was served a plate of ham and eggs very quickly after sitting down. The pool was a little dirty with leaf litter but was cleaned the next morning. The pool rules stated you had to pay to get the pool cleaned, which is a little strange.

Blue village is about 10 min walk from the main street in Ao Nang, but it is not true that the street is all dark since there are several hotels and restaurants on the way down. The huts are rustic but pretty, with wooden floor and a comfy bed. You have your own refrigerator, they change the towels everyday and we received a bottle of water per day. The breakfast consisted of 2 eggs, 1 sausage, 1 ham, bread, fruits, juice and coffee. It was more than enough. The wifi was really good, although a little slow, but it´s like that all around Thailand. Overall we were really satisfied with our choice. The last day, the taxi was going to pick us up at 7am and the kitchen opens at 7, the staff at the kitchen were kind enough to open 15 min before so we could grab something to eat before we leave. That was really nice!
