The money disappeared: €500 and around 5,000 baht. They had always stayed inside the backpack. On the first day of the stay we counted the cash and put it in a backpack we never even used. Today we counted it again because tomorrow we leave for the next stop and wanted to understand whether we needed to withdraw more money or not… we were honestly shocked. In total about €600 were stolen from us. We understood how serious the situation was when we also saw the hotel reviews, some from people who had been robbed too. This is our first bad experience in Thailand, even though we’ve travelled a lot and something like this had never happened to us before. It’s a lot of money, and even if it had been less, now I’m struggling to trust anyone who even comes into the room just to clean it. Be careful, not only in this hotel but in every hotel you stay in. I’m saying it to you, but mostly to myself. I’m still in disbelief. We turned the whole room upside down but the money isn’t going to magically appear, probably never will.

If I could put zero stars I would. When the cleaner was cleaning my room she's gone I side my bag, Inside the wallet and taken 500 euros and 5000 baht. There's little to nothing the police can do as she went in the room as she should to clean as seen on on CCTV but obviously and sadly no CCTV inside the room. Holiday ruined. If you check the other reviews plenty of people at this hotel have been robbed. Really really sad. None of the staff seem too bothered about it with some laughing during on me complaining. Absolutely disgusted and saddened

Theft. Sadly, I had money stolen from my room on my first day at the hotel and that ruined my entire experience. Details: - I had only just checked in, so there was no need for anyone to enter my room while I was out. - I put 9,000 baht in my bag before I went out and was gone for less than an hour, only to find 4,000 baht missing when I returned…which indicates it was a cleaner or other staff. - I informed the receptionist immediately and she initially lied to my face by saying no one had been to the room. - After repeat requests for the CCTV footage (as they were 3 cameras on my floor), I was told none of them worked. - I was told to visit the Police Station out of town to file a report, and have them take finger prints, but didn’t see how this would return my money. - Aoh helpfully had the Police come to the hotel but they explained there was little they could do. - I was offered a couple of taxis and breakfasts as a gesture of goodwill, but that was obviously far from equivalent to 4,000 baht compensation. - I was asked to sign something upon check out that said they “hope” I don’t leave a bad review, but I think the fairness to alert potential customers trumps that hope.
