OYO 385 Aonang President Hotel

Booked the hotel through booking.com before arrival and was certainly not disappointed, in fact the hotel far exceeded my expectations. Firstly, check in was swift and the girl on reception who was there most days was amazingly kind. I was in room 312 which was at the rear of the property, however the room was extremely spacious and clean with a balcony. The room was stated as a twin but to me was more like 2 small double beds. Room was equipped with everything needed, including a fridge that was replenished daily with 2 bottles of water, as well as shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. Room was cleaned daily and the air conditioning kept the room as cool as required. The hotel was a short 5 minute walk downhill towards the beach, whilst there were numerous shops, bars and restaurants within the vicinity of the hotel. I cannot reccomend this hotel enough, having travelled around Asia and Europe many times this hotel certainly will be first on the list when I return to Ao Nang, thanks again for a great stay!

Good: Room & Facilities - clean with daily room service (towel change on daily basis) - toilet is clean too with basic toiletries - hot shower with good water pressure - air conditioning working well, but can control the temperature (cold at night) - small fridge very convenient to keep drinks and food - have a porch where can relax and chill - the bed not so comfy (slightly hard) and pillow too - tv with satellite channel & free wifi too Location (best) - next to the main road, hence very easy to go to anywhere and anytime - 8 to 10 minutes walk to the beach - Convenient stores, clinics, local pharmacy are few meters away - tourist centre almost everywhere with few meters away - restaurants and local food stalls are just few meters away as well Bad: - next to the main road and there are few bars with live band nearby, it can be very noisy at night until late night especially weekends - no breakfast - need to use stairs Overall: For its price, I would say very reasonable and valued for money and very good location.

Pretty good hotel for this price range. Clean rooms with aircon. Super friendly staff. I wouldn't recommend taking room next to the road if you're light sleeper. Noise from the bars and traffic can keep you wake at night. I didn't have problems with that. Beds were little too hard to my taste, but after walking beach all day I didn't have problems falling asleep.
