Baan Phu Lae Resort

Stunning views, lovely food with beautiful delicate Thai food as well as French style waffle and Croque monsieur. The drinks are well crafted and delicate and served with care and attention such as a lotus flower or thin slice of perfect ginger. Had ice ginger tea, ice lemongrass tea, chicken pandang, Croque monsieur all for 1/3 of price of same same but 3 times better food plus staff are amazing and friendly.. 👌 Perfection

We stayed for 4 nights in a beachfront fan bungalow and wished we could have stayed for 4 nights more. We were picked-up from the boat from Phuket and it is quite a long drive south to Bamboo Beach. The hotel is relatively isolated and hiring a boat or a motorbike is recommeded if you want to explore more widely. We were content to stay around the hotel and ate all our meals at the excellent hotel restaurant. Happy Hour cocktails all day was another attraction. The staff are very friendly and helpful and can organise all tours and onward travel reservations. We went on a one day snorkelling tour and were picked up from the hotel beach in the morning by the boat enroute to the snorkelling. There is a beautiful swimming beach adjacent to the hotel. Unfortunately there is a lot of net fishing close to the beach so there is very little marine life to see when snorkelling. The bungalow is quite basic with only cold water but quite comfortable. We needed to use the provided mosquito net. The aircon bungalows may be a better choice if the weather is very hot or you prefer more comfort. The only noise came from some other guests at an adjacent bungalow. Wifi is in the restaurant only (although we did get it in our room sometimes). Overall highly recommended for a restful beach holiday.

I have been to Baan Phu Lay a few year ago and i still remember how nice it near by the beach and hears the wind at the night time its quiet but you neved feel lonely........... Wish to be there again if there is a chance for me
