Lanta Pura Beach Resort Review Lanta Pura has a fantastic beachfront location, which is without doubt its biggest selling point. Being right on the beach makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The rooms themselves are pleasant enough, with a nice balcony, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, there are several areas where the hotel falls short. The water pressure is quite unreliable, and the hot water can be inconsistent, which becomes frustrating. The WiFi connection drops in and out regularly, making it difficult to rely on, and the air conditioning didn’t get nearly as cold as expected—something that’s pretty important in this climate. Breakfast offers a decent variety, but unfortunately the quality doesn’t always match the selection. Food that should have been hot was often only lukewarm, which was disappointing. The surrounding area is fairly small, although there are a few shops and restaurants nearby, along with a modest night market that’s worth a quick visit. There are also plenty of dive companies in the area if that’s something you’re interested in. Overall, while the location and staff are definite positives, the number of issues with basic amenities lets the hotel down. That said, it was very peaceful during my stay, with no noise or disturbances, which may appeal to those looking for a quiet break—but whether I’d return would depend on improvements being made.

So I honestly can't understand all the good reviews! The hotel is so worn out, the best years long gone. Broken down the wall on the beach and completely trashed, not recommended as a beach hotel. There are 5 sun loungers on the beach, at the pool these are also never enough. There'd be room for 20 more, but that's not what it seems. The room size was ok, however, the rooms and also the entire facility smell extremely of gulli and sewage. Mold stains on the sofa cushions and mold even in the bathroom, the toilet flushing and also the toilet would have to be replaced long ago. The dishes dirty at breakfast, the coffee inedible. To escape the dingy grounds, we were almost only on the road. We stayed at various 3 star hotels in Thailand, everyone else was top. Only the location was pleasant, Night Market within walking distance and the Long Beach 10 min Tuktuk.

Stayed at the hotel for a week. Likes about location, cleaning and rooms. It took a few days to turn to the level differences in the bathroom. Very friendly and helpful cleaning staff. Breakfast not the best experience. Got cold brown coffee 3 mornings and filling of empty bowls and dishes was very fluctuating. Should even several times make them aware of it. Figured out in the last few days that it was possible to order the omelet. It stood nowhere. If breakfast was better, we would definitely come back.
