Lanta Sunny House

We stayed at Lanty Sunny House from April 25, 2026, for 6 nights. We booked through booking.com with breakfast included. After the money was deducted from the account, we were informed that there was no breakfast. The whole "resort" was running completely on low flame!!! Only the essentials in the bungalow, no storage space; we had to ask for every small utensil, everything was outdated! We could agree on breakfast; it only had the essentials, but it was okay! We actually felt that the resort would soon close! The lady at the reception was very unfriendly and unapproachable. The caretaker and the maids were friendly and more approachable. The facility itself was great, as was the beach. However, we did not feel welcome there - that was our impression. The lady was happy when we left again! Very sad. Because we spent our vacation in a very wonderful country! This will no longer be an option for us!

Beautiful place surrounded by greenery, with good potential if only it was managed appropriately. The cute Bungalows, even though we had booked a superior and it was the basic bungalow, we wondered how the others were classified. Ants in the beds, in the bathroom....Staff never cleaned the room, no change of towels or sheets during the 7 nights spent. No instant coffee in the room, despite the kettle. We had to ask for toilet paper at reception and asked for a broom to clean, but again the cleaning girl did not understand the question in English. Little available at the reception, on the vigil of departure we asked about the buses from ko Lanta to Krabi and they pointed us to the panel with timetables. They tell us that buses run every hour at the hotel but forget to say that you have to book the day before. So after check out we wait in vain for the bus, at the reception we are told that paying the next available bus is in the afternoon. Day lost due to lack of communication. Would not stay there again and would not recommend.

Avoid ! We booked a deluxe room but they put us in a standard room, as it was fully booked. The standard was awful,but mostly because we paid much more for the deluxe room. We did not accept this downgrade, but we did not get a refund as promised. Hotel staff did not reply or cooperate, to any call or email. Booking.com is letting us down. Visit at your own risk as they try to screw you.
