Lantawadee Resort and Spa

Not luxury, but a nice fan bungalow for 300thb for backpackers, with hot shower and comfortable bed! Located close to the beach, but I would recommend renting a scooter so you can get around to other restaurants and such. I don't know if there's two parts, but our bungalow was perfectly fine with a good size bathroom, cheap and better than other bungalows we've had. The "resort" itself does not have a lot of charm to it and is run down, but as a place to sleep this is perfect. If we were on a short holiday I would probably book something nicer.

Hotel does not match description, it is not a resort & spa but just a few rickety bungalows on wasteland with unkept grounds. Bungalows are basic but are very clean & smell nice. Staff were very rude & untrustworthy.

I was supposed to stay 3 nights with a friend but left after an hour. There was holes in all of the walls that you could see daylight through. The windows wouldn't shut & only had a screen over them so we would have been eaten alive by mosquitos at night. The surrounding gardens were dead & full of rubbish. When we checked out the woman didn't even question the fact that we had only checked in the hour before which made us wonder if it happens often! The only plus side is it's location - right next to Long Beach.
