Stayed here for 4 nights in January 2026 with my wife during a 3 month travelling adventure. The resort is beautiful with all the huts having thatched roofs. The beach was very nice but the views from the beach was the best . Stunning limestone cliffs coming out of the sea . We was very lucky with the weather as we never seen a single cloud in 4 days . It was super hot and sunny. The staff were amazing , especially the porters . I got friendly with the older porter but can’t remember his name . Every morning we put sun cream on and walked the full length of the beach and back , stopping off half way on the way back for a coconut smoothie and a banana pancake. There are no roads on Koh Ngai which means everything is done by either long tail boat or walking on the beach . We loved it here and will one day return .

Still a little paradise... We were here in 2019, and virtually nothing has changed. We live again in a small bungalow right off the beach, magnificent. Great view. Bungalow is thank God with air conditioning, because here is very warm. The bungalow itself is still well worn, but it works for us, are you for wild luxury, then it is not here. The beach is sandy with a lot of shells, and some big stupid stones on the water edge. Staff are perfect, cute, helpful, and very nice. Breakfast is fine and the food in the restaurant is good. Thank God the resort has accepted the criticism, so now there's actually free drinking water. If we want to come again - - yes Ps- we're actually here right now? 😎

Very nice resort with fresh bungalows, fantastic location with both own restaurant and proximity to neighboring restaurants, massages and bars. Magical feeling when the island has no road and the beach is the “way” to other places. Swimming shoes can be good to wear on some parts of the beach when swimming but otherwise you go barefoot all the time. Can recommend the place warmly as it is also close to the neighbors “Reggea-baren” and the restaurant at the campsite. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All costs at the resort are put in the rooms and paid digitally when checking out which reduces the need for cash on the island. There is no ATM on Koh Ngai. The conclusion is that the island is a paradise and Tapwarin Resort was super!
