Al Ameen Hotel

I've booked it over Booking.com b/c I thought the Hotel would be near the Pier Klong Jirad. Actually it's not (30 minutes walk, ca. 2,2 km). Booking and Google having the wrong adress. You have to go over the Hotels hp. The staff isn't very competently or does speak a minimum english. The room was large and clean but the bathroom was stinking. It's been very loud. My bed wasn't standig firm on the ground, we've heard doors banging all the time. In the nearby mosque the Muezzin starts around 5 am with the first prayer. As we wanted to check out the next morning nobody was near the reception. We waited a few minutes theon out the key in the Country and left. I definetly wouldn't stay there another time.

We arrived 28th december and stayed 3 nights, when we arrived there was no sign of our booking after about ten minuted waiting around spoke to somebody on a mobile to try an sort things out as the boy on receptions english was very limited, my thai isnt up to much but i think if your running a hotel and english is pretty much a universal languge it would be easier if your staff could communicate! In the end they gave me a room but then i had to pay cash as they wouldnt take card ive still got to check wether ive been charged already by booking.com when i get home?! Room was nice and clean, bathroom clean an modern, coffee making facilities minus the spoon so had to use sunglasses arm which was no real problem! Bed was pretty firm, as in you jumped on an bounced off again! And the ac worked well, downsides were room was not serviced at all while we were there,so we had to ask for toilet rolls and towels etc which was hard work again! And main downside is its in the middle of nowhere really, about 2 miles out of town and down some dark roads, i personally wouldnt stay here again, i would probably stay in ao nang area much more going on there and nice beach etc!
