Amatapura Beach Villa 12

We stayed here with a large group for a wedding. I want to start off this review by highlighting how incredible the manager Ching is. She was so phenomenal at helping us with literally anything, including organizing tours getting an in-house chef and our tuktuk rides. If her manager is reading this, please pay that woman more because she is incredible! The house was so beautiful and lovely. I will say the beds are not the most comfortable. They are pretty firm. Air con kept the rooms plenty cold. We got in-house massages, which were fine, but would recommend going to town. We got the in-house chef which cooked for 26 of us in the food was some of the best of the whole trip and there was so much! We had lunch leftovers for several days. There is a tuktuk you can call to take you into town and pick you up and bring you back that is only 100 baht each way ($3 USD). I bet you this service saved us a ton of money over the week and the driver was so friendly and lovely! Can fit 10 people in it. Highly recommend walking down the beach to the seafood restaurant that’s nearby. Also one of the best meals of the trip. Overall, a lovely day and I felt we were well taken care of the time we were there.

The villa faces the beach, not too clear but can swim, very shallow & calm waters. Villa was large, clean & all necessary necessities provided. Ching, the manager was wonderful, she was so prompt will providing any requests like tuk-tuk rides etc.

Stayed for 2 weeks Family of 10 End July 23 Villa 1 Pro Quiet location- 12 min drive to Ao Nang town and 5 mins to Ao Nammo Pier. Excellent Tuk Tuk driver-Pong- who was on call from 9am-10pm for all local trips. Great beach side location- though beach not for swimming!! Felt safe and secure with 24hr security guards. Air con was brilliant. Fresh water dispenser each day and ice. Cons I imagine when it was first built it was luxurious- unfortunately not now! It is in dire need of an upgrade. The pictures online of furnishings are misleading -dated,stained,dirty and uncomfortable. Pillows need changing and the beds as hard as concrete. Kitchen utensils were filthy and unusable. The cleaners came every day- were there 10 mins at most. Really needs a deep clean. Cupboards were filthy and wood chipped. This didn’t stop us making the most of our family holiday and the pool was lovely. It’s NO way luxurious but could be made absolutely beautiful. There were a few beach bars along from Villa- 10 min walk. Long boats could be got from the pier to other beaches for swimming. About 40 mins from Krabi airport at a cost of 1000tbh for mini bus.
