Aonang Lake Side Bungalow

DON’T BOOK THIS PLACE!!! IT MUST BE CLOSED BY HOTEL INSPECTORS IMMEDIATELY!!! The most horrible and dirty room in Thailand! The most disgusting, slummy and awful place I’ve ever seen. The fact that the owners don’t realy speak English, and that they don't immediately understand that you have a reservation is not a problem. The real problem is everything else! The place is totaly dirty, moldy, smelly, unhealthy! It’s unsafe, the door is broken, plaster is falling off, dust is everywhere. Don’t have a shower here! Water is smelly and dirty. The whole bathroom is gross! The toilet is awful! Beds are extremly uncomfortable, bed sheets don’t feel washed or clean, the mattress is filthy, dust and dead skin of too many guests are a feast for hungry dust mites. Cockroaches crawl into the room at night and day. When you make complaints about anything communication is imposible. Terrible! Horrible! Filthy! Worst of the worst! Even one star is too many!

If you like cockroaches, geckos, and holes in the walls and ceiling for them to get through 24 hours a day, this place is just right for you! The bungalow is as basic as one could possibly get, which mightn’t necessarily be a bad thing until you get to night time and your girlfriend is standing on the bed and you are chasing creepy crawlies with a stick through the many many cracks in the walls. The place was also quite dirty upon arrival. We didn’t opt for AC which was a huge mistake as the fan wasn’t up to the job. We did get a free tuk tuk into the town when leaving which was a small plus at the end of a rough couple of nights.

Aside from very quiet and peaceful environment which is a bit nice, the facilities need some renovation and inprovement. from the pool that some of tiles are broken, the woods in the terrace of the bungalow are already eaten by termites, the smell of the towels and room its smell like a old cabinet, the water in the shower was not strong, the stains in the toilet seat, etc. but for the good side, i give credits to the mini fridge, a old box television with 2 channels haha a privacy and tranquility of the place. its cheap tho' for a bungalow but they are more better place to crash within their price range. so i dont recommend this one with people who are fussy or girly or something that like cant stay in forest overnight.
