Thalane Home

The room was clean, simple and nice. Came to Krabi for kayaking and the facilities there was quite simple, and the house is right next to the bay, which was convenient. The staff there was quite nice and helpful. It's about 50 minutes away from the city center, which might be a little far for some people. However the place is peaceful; insects and birds chirp and was cooling during the night.Overall it was a simple but good stay.

We were upgraded from dorm stay to bungalow stay for 2 since the whole place was not occupy by any other tourist. The room was nice and sweet, very cooling with just ceiling fan. The internet was pretty good but limited to the common area. The auntie was really helpful despite her limited English. The birds and insects chirping sound accompany our night through the morning. Very peaceful and tranquil place to stay, still not very touristy area except for the kayaking center just in front of Thalane Home. Recommended stay for those who wish for a relaxing holiday and "private" beach, before more development takes place. From Krabi town, can catch a taxi to Thalane Home for 600 Baht per car per way, 45 minutes away from Krabi town and 30 minutes away to Ao Nang Beach.

Lovely hotel with nice staff. Not all of them speak clear english but the do the best to help you. Did some kajaking at the bay, the old men that helped us with the kajaking told us that we could go to malaysia if we want to. "Enjoy!" The fact that they want you to have a good time is the thing that makes it so nice. Clean room, good facilities, not very luxery but not necessary for me!
