Hotel was value priced. Good for what you paid. Rooms were large and clean. Breakfast is basic and you can order it by the day and is relatively inexpensive. There are no convenience stores in the immediate area or eateries. It was located a bit far from the main strip in Ao Nang ,however if you rent a scooter it shouldn't be a problem. Laundry service is relatively inexpensive too. They had adequate places to park a scooter so you can park your car/scooter but it is not gated, so I would bring your own lock. I only gave it a minus 1 star because of the location but if you understand this, and are booking a couples trip/solo trip and intend on renting a scooter this place becomes an excellent place to stay in Ao Nang at an affordable price. My Nitpicks: The owner while a nice lady did not understand how expedia works when I came here, and I had to use google translate to gesture out how everything works. One of her other employees came to the rescue though and I was able to tell her that I had already paid her for my stay. The staff speaks little english, however the are all very friendly.

Definitely worth for the amount you pay.. its around 5kms from the Au nang beach, but you could always rent a scooter to get there or a tuk tuk. The staffs are very friendly, but make sure you talk to them slowly so that they could understand what you say..

This is a fairly new hotel. The price was very reasonable for the type of accommodation. The room and bathroom were fairly large. The room and hotel were clean. The towels smelled great. The cable had a channel from Macau playing movies from the US in English without edits or commercials - which was great. The staff were nice - especially "Om"(sic) the manager - who speaks the most English of any of the staff. The bed was large and comfortable. The A/C started dripping the first day, but the maintenance staff were sent to the room immediately and fixed the problem - No problems after that and it worked great! The hotel has a coffee shop, bar, restaurant in the lobby - though I didn't eat there as the prices seemed high. Though the room was cleaned every day, they never replaced the instant coffee (so I just bought canned ones at 7/11) and forgot toilet paper once. Two issues: 1. The hotel is located next to the road near the bottom of a hill, so you hear the trucks and loud scooters going up and down the hill all day and night. The bathroom window is open to prevent mold/mildew from moisture, but even if it were closed, I suspect you would still hear them due to poor insulation. 2. Here's the biggest problem: The hotel is kind of out of range of anything. It's good to be away from the craziness, but difficult to get to/from. It's not close to Krabi town, nor is it close to Ao Nong Beach area. I really wish I had rented a car at the airport, as there were parking spaces at the hotel, and I could have comfortable traveled anywhere at anytime - say to Phuket. Even if I had rented a scooter, it would have been better - though I was reluctant due to the horror stories I've heard about being fleeced by the rental companies. You can rent a scooter at the hotel, but it's through a third party in Ao Nong. As it was, I was relegated to waiting for the city bus for transportation to Ao Nong, Krabi town and everywhere in between. At fifty baht a ride (which was the cheapest fare), three rides per day would have paid for a small scooter. The hotel says you get one free ride during your stay to/from the hotel. They also claim they run a daily tuk-tuk shuttle to Ao Nong at 10 AM and back to the hotel at 9 PM - the only time I took advantage, I was waiting at the location, but it did not show. I called Om, and he came to pick me up on his scooter, explaining that I needed to call ahead of time to make the arrangement. Taxi and tuk-tuk drivers will charge you three-to-five times the amount of the bus. Aside from the road noise all night, it is quiet. Do yourself a favor and rent a scooter or car. There isn't much around, so I carried my backpack to bring food and drinks back to the room to keep in the refrigerator. Laundry at the hotel smelled great, but was double the price you could have it done in town. They did arrange for an air conditioned van to pick me up for transfer to the airport for 150 baht.
