White Elephant Krabi

We stayed two nights in White Elephant Krabi and we had a very lovely experience! Staff is very helpful and polite, rooms clean and super cozy! Breakfast was tasty and warm :) The hotel is not far from Ao Nam Mao pier (10 minutes walking) and there are few local restaurants beside the roundabout.

My friends and I needed somewhere to stay for the night in Krabi before we headed over to Phuket. During our intermission, we also had plans to visit the famous Tiger Temple. Representatives from the White Elephant were waiting at the Songserm bus drop off to try and bring tourists back to the hotel, as we are visiting on the off season. The hotel room was quite cheap (500baht) including taxi to the hotel which kind of worried me, but there is no need to worry. The staff was incredibly helpful, spoke great English and even offered us a taxi to the Tiger Temple for cheap. The rooms are spacious, with air conditioning and very very clean. The showers have good water pressure and have hot water. The food they sell at their restaurant in typical Thai, but very satisfying and super cheap. In addition, the staff was knowledgeable about places to visit near here and are very willing to help you. Very nice place to stay, these people deserve your business.

Loved this place!!!. We booked our trip through a travel agency in Bangkok and we're unsure of the places we might end up but were more than pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and all staff we encountered were pleasant, helpful and friendly, in particular Paul (the manager I think) who really looked after us, recommended tours and made us feel safe. The hotel is a little bit out of the way of the busy bar area but the hotel has a car service for 50 baht per person (about £1.15 at the time of our visit) and only a 5/10 minute drive away. Theres loads of taxis and tuk tuks from the aonang beach area to return To the hotel. The only problem we had was that our room overlooked the main road and the windows were not soundproof at all, intact we could hear all the noise as though our windows were open. On one night in particular another group were checking out and sat up all night outside talking loudly. We mentioned the noise to the manager the next day and were offered a change of room straight away, no problem but decided to stick with the one we had as we didn't want the fuss. We were also worn out from all our exploring so on the second night the street noise (the road isn't too busy anyway) didn't keep us awake, but if you're a light sleeper maybe request a room at the rear. Overall we really loved this place. Thanks for having us guys
